TINY TIGERS
MONDAY, WEDNESDAY @ 4:15pm
Ages 4 to 6
The Tiny Tigers Program is for children ages four to six, who will work with a parent or guardian to develop gross motor skills, basic martial art movements and the following eight core skills:

FOCUS
SELF-CONTROL
BALANCE
FITNESS
TEAMWORK
MEMORY
SELF-DISCIPLINE
COORDINATION
Classes are 30min long. They start with a chat that introduces a core skill, followed by the introduction of a game to assist in its development. A parent or guardian participates with their child by holding targets and learning the mechanics of defensive posturing, blocks, punches and kicks. At the end of each class we have a chat to review the core skill followed by the awarding of belt stripes and/or stickers.
The curriculum is a ten week cycle with classes held twice a week. The first 8 weeks each have their own focus on one core skill, with the last two weeks being review.
A colored stripe is awarded to students when they complete a class focusing on a core skill. There are eight stripe colors, each corresponding to a skill. Students that earn all eight stripes and complete the review by the end of the cycle are awarded a new belt.
